CoFeed19 is a purely informative application to provide the population with information, from reliable sources, about the new global pandemic, COVID-19. The application aims at informed prevention, which we believe is the most effective way to save lives at this time.
CoFeed19 extracts statistical data from sources such as the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and WHO (World Health Organization), providing a listing and a map with the number of confirmed cases, deaths, recovered and in critical condition, by country. It also aggregates information articles on symptoms, prevention, and disease transmission, provided by the CDC and translated into Portuguese. In addition, all news about the virus published in Público, AWemana, The Guardian, CNBC, BBC, WHO Twitter and CNN are aggregated in one place.
With CoFeed19, the user can even self-diagnose by following a series of questions and answers, and they will receive advice based on those answers. If the advice includes contacting the health line in your country, the user will be able to consult that number also through the application.
The application is multilingual, currently it is configured for Portuguese and English, but we can add other languages according to your needs.
